Innovation and job creation are the foundation of a healthy economy and a vibrant society. In Europe, we rely on the SME community for all of these precious resources.
SMEs face multifaceted challenges and evolving opportunities. While they possess greater flexibility and adaptability than large companies, they are more susceptible to adverse business environments. With fewer resources at their disposal, SMEs undergo digital and green transformations while contending with rising energy costs, bureaucratic hurdles, and inflation.
As a foundation, we are dedicated to providing concrete assistance to European SMEs and promoting public discourse on entrepreneurship. Our goals include preserving the principles of the social market economy, fostering entrepreneurial freedom, and supporting startups and company successions. We facilitate education, training, research, innovation, and networking to bolster medium-sized companies.
We strive to enhance working conditions, digitization, and sustainability while improving data on European SMEs for informed decision-making. Additionally, we provide funding and support to SME associations, initiatives, and projects.
Our activities encompass developing and implementing programs, participating in funded initiatives, conducting surveys and studies, and supporting SME projects, institutions, and associations. We promote events, organize network meetings, educational trips, and business delegations, aligning with our foundation’s objectives.
